mr. mcgrew. slick spots left over from the showers. today temperatures not expected to be all that warm. however, tomorrow they start to climb. we're talking about triple digits back in the forecast as of this weekend. kind of a wild weather week a lot of people let me know they often get sick when we see extremes happen fast. make sure you're aware of the fact we're going to see a big time change as we head to the weekend. temperatures climbing into the mid-90s in the cool spots in the east bay as we head through saturday. the warmest day in the period. this is what we're looking at. we still have the system of low pressure, wrap around moisture from the south. right now everything we are noticing in the bay area is very, very light and very isolated. just that one cell up here to the northeast of san jose. that's it right now. we could see some of that action develop as we head through the next couple of hours. after that showers will wind down. today will be much cooler than average as we still have a lot of this cool marine air pus

mr. mcgrew. we have a very interesting forecast for you today. i want to show you first and foremost when it's expected to stop raining. that will be noon tomorrow. so, we're going to see pretty significant shower activity as we head throughout the week. excuse me, throughout the day today. i think that east bay cities, you are fair game for maybe a half inch up to an inch of rain. our temperatures are only going to be in the 60s today. upper 60s and then take a look at this warm-up toward the weekend. 95 degrees on saturday. so, a very significant change toward the end of the week. very, very unusual to see a cold front at this time of year dipping so far to the south. here it is right now. you see that very well-defined counterclockwise rotation here. the front's pushing into northern california. i think it's going to break apart before it gets to portions of the south bay. may not make to the gilroy but this is what we're looking at. let me show you where the showers are. right now pushing into bodega bay, santa rosa, in about 10 minutes start

mr. scott mcgrew. we missed you. we've got warm weather to look forward to this weekend. excuse me, this week. and as we head toward the weekend, the end of the week, that's when we're going to get some of the best weather. i think we'll see the low 70s once again when onshore flow comes back in the mix. for the next few days it's going to be downright toasty in the east bay especially the tri-valley region. make sure you're ready for. we haven't had weather like this all year. this is the first mini heat wave, significant, that we've had. so make sure you're ready especially if you work outside, got to have the hydration handy. high pressure warming us up all week. this is what we expect. the high pressure ridge is out in the pacific. you can see the clouds arcing up and around that strong ridge. we've got dry sinking air here, kind of compression. so that's what you think when you think of high pressure, it's going to continue to move over us and compress. through the next 48 hours it will set up over the bay area. that's when we see the off shore winds, that means no m
