mr. mcguire, the floor is yours. >> good morning, supervisors, tom mcguire, director of streets for the sfmta, where among other things, i do oversee our capital projects and construction team, and thank you for -- thank you, kathleen, or whoever's running the slides. i'm going to give a quick overview of our response and more importantly some of the other going things that we're doing to improve project delivery at the sfmta, and obviously want to thank the civil grand jury. thank you for taking the time to talk about this, something that's really important to us. we know that we're not where we need to be. we know that there are some major capital projects in the city from which we have to draw some pretty hard and serious lessons. this hearing and this report is part of that learning, including the collaborative response that we got from our fellow partners, public works and p.u.c. in responding to this. so we welcome the feedback, and even though -- in the written response you got from us, you'll see us agreeing and disagrees. you can't -- disagreeing. you can't say partially agree, but m
