mr. mitchell. next speaker. >> good afternoon, supervisors. my name is richard deluce and i live around the corner from 725 taraval and i have live there had for system 10 years now. i ask you today to vote against the settlement of t-mobile's lawsuit against the city. voting to set thl lawsuit will set a bad precedent for future instances where wireless carriers seek to install these types of intrusive, industrial, commercial facilities on or near residential buildings in neighbors where they do not belong. and in supervisor farrel's district alone, there are currently four such case where is a proposed wireless facilities requiring a conditional use permit are meeting with widespread organized resident opposition. by caving into the well heeled corporate it will g it will gators, they will be -- to the li litigators, they will be voting against the residential areas who voted you into office. and since 2001 there have been 17 conditional use appeals decided by the board of supervisors involving cell sites like the one on 725 taraval. just la

mr. mitchell, the president of the professional firefighters of wisconsin.ted what firefighters have gone through nationwide. here in wisconsin, you engaged in the fight actually when you weren't being targeted. what kind of response have you gotten from the people when they realize middle class professionals are under attack. is it a motivating thing when they see public service like yourself and your brothing being picked on by republican legislatures? >> we are not the only unit out there working day-to-day, knocking on doors that are exempt. we have uaw, bill and trades, painters. we have everybody coming off, hugging themselves. they are not drastically effected. it's more about firefighters and police officers. we are there for the middle class. this is a middle class fight. it's for the wisconsin ites. we didn't ask for the fight, but we will finish the fight. >> well, the enthusiasm clearly is high. the enthusiasm is high. is it the agenda or is it governor walker? i mean, it's almost a personality issue at this point. people can lose the sight of wh

[inaudible] >> it is important to concentrate on the right thing. communicable diseases, what do people buy from at different places? if you are a child, there are two kinds of of vulnerability. 30 days to five years and up to 30 days. during 30 days is about having a skilled birth attendant, having the mother educated about keeping the baby warm in the starting to breast feed. a few antibiotics. that is about half of what occurs in the first 30 days. from 30 days to five years is almost all infectious diseases. malaria, acute respiratory infection. all of those are vaccine preventable. between those two areas, that covers -- not communicable diseases kill people when they get in
