refer to an active insurrection to overthrow democracy in the united states and potentially have mr. pence assassinated. again, i'm just using plain english. the interviews there, they may reflect pence's honest recollections. they may have some selective emphasis on his eye in the future of the republican party. but they do something to strengthen the process of this special counsel's new subpoena, because they show pence remembers a lot of the details. how he can be pressed on them under oath on any trump criminal plotting, on trump's secret statements made only to pence or trump's apparent intent leading up to that day, and the meetings and contacts that both trump and other coup plotters, like john eastman, seen here being searched by the fbi, what they might have said privately. we do know that a dozen lawmakers who met with trump, at least one meeting occurred on december 21st, and an attendee described that huddle as friendly withpence's involvement. >> it was a very friendly meeting. vice president pence was there. in fact, vice president pence encouraged the debate. he said the de

mr. pence's home here? >> that's right. this was an negotiation agreed upon between the president's lawyers and the vice president to go in for this search. there wasn't a search warrant needed like we saw with former president trump's home in mar-a-lago last august where they recovered hundreds of documents that had classification markings. this is very different. we know that federal agents did go to the former vice president's home in indiana today and recovered at least one additional classified document. and they also took with them six pages that didn't have any classified markings, so there's a question there about what that might pertain to, and we also now are learning a little bit more about how this all came together. republican, the former vice president asked his attorneys to do a search of his private home after president biden discovered that he had classified material at home in wilmington, delaware. in the last couple of months, as we've seen this story really explode and touch various former top officials
