mr. rogers, could you comment on what you think this is in terms of the president's standing leader in thety? he's been criticized by leading from behind in an uncertain circumstance. >> today is a day that we should absolutely celebrity intelligence services operations coming together, our special elite soldiers and folks that went to the raid and relieve the president should get kudos for authorizing the raid to go in and take care of osama bin laden. that's a good thing and it's a good thing for the country as it should be. i thought it was a good thing for our standing internationally on our national security front. that being said, there's a lot of issues we are going to have to have conversations about to make sure the nation's nationals to the interests are met, and i don't believe the president will do this, but you don't want to use this as your -- if this is your national security policy, we are in a lot of trouble. and so, it's this and then its follow-up and making sure our allies overseas know who we are and the kind of decisions we will make when we get in trouble. we have so

mr. rogers? >> similar to what is just been said is we look to the chicago police department of chicago fire department in those agencies to respond when there is a issue or matter can. it comes to our customers and their actual employees we have campaigns as the one that has been mentioned to see something and say something for our customers but our employees on hand our customer assistance and maintenance as you mentioned a variety of different job descriptions throughout the authority received a basic training on how it is to basically remain vigilant. we put notices out to our employees systemwide, all 10,000 of them basically notifying them that they have to remain alert and ensure we are assisting our customers. so the campaign process is what we used to really notify everyone throughout the system but we also do individualized training depending on the individuals on the job description. >> and to the point where if a ticket agent sees a suspicious looking package, is he or she trained in

i was very pleased this week when the gentleman, mike rogers, and mr.persberger, who represents the minority, came to the rules committee to talk about the needs of the intelligence community and in particular i was very pleased as they worked so closely together to ensure that the issues that were contained within this document, the agreements that would be in law and perhaps more importantly the important relationships that would be shared by them, as we work together to ensure that this country is safe, that we do so in a way where the american people see that keeping america safe, providing the necessary resources to the men and women of the intelligence community and expecting the results that would come from them is a very important part of what our job as members of congress is all about. i applaud chairman mike rogers of michigan for providing this congress with much-needed -- with the intelligence authorization bill and i appreciate the exhaustive process on a bipartisan basis, not only that chairman rogers has led but that includes a return to
