mr. scalise: sure. i'm sorry. you know, ultimately, that's something that's been negotiated very heavily is what is -- what kind of legal status can be given to people that are here that president obama encouraged to come here illegally and yet left them in limbo. we're left to work out this problem that was created by president obama, but we're working to do it and we'll do it in a way that's fair to people waiting in line. let's remember, the united states, number one, has the most generous immigration policies in the world. we let about a million people a year legally. it's a great policy to encourage people to come to this country to be a part of the american people but we are also a nation of laws. we want to make sure people follow the rules. there are a lot of people that are waiting in line to come to america, waiting the right way so you don't want to do something that ultimately discourages people that actually do wait the right way to come to america. reporter: [inaudible] path of citizenship to daca re
