mr. tremaine and doctor ellmendorf. it's good to see you today. i want to go to a topic not talked about in the deficit and growing deficit in where we might be in the future if we do not address that. but social disability, to go back and put some context on this, since 1970 one of the inflation adjusted to disability insurance expenditures have risen from 18 billion to 140 and 100 -- 2014. a portion of the increase is due to two things and we have heard that from testimony before the aging population which we all know and also the entrance of women into the workforce. we have heard that. but if you look at these factors they only account for 6% on the aging side and 17% increase on the entrance of women for the increasing disability caseload. so at the same time, the individuals are self reporting an increase in their help. but it's improving. and so, we see approximately 20 people per 100,000 of the received benefits and 1970 as compared to now about 80 people per 100,000 today. so the latest projection from the cbo estimate is that social secu
