jha, give us some context between the one-dose johnson & johnson vaccine and the mrna vaccines like pfizer and moderna? >> the two mrna vaccines, the pfizer vaccine and the moderna vaccine, are essentially identical in my mind, and they're probably the best vaccines we have right now in terms of efficacy against the delta variant. the data on johnson & johnson is just much less clear. there is enough data out there in my mind to suggest that the j&j vaccine is still going to do a very, very good job of protecting against severe illness and death. the question is, how good a job is it going to do against preventing breakthrough infection, symptomatic infections? and the short answer is we just don't know, and we'll know more in the upcoming weeks. the thing that i worry about are the chinese vaccines, which have been used maybe about 1/3 to 1/2 of all the vaccines in the world so far have been the vaccines made in china. again, we don't have a lot of data on them, but the data we have suggests that they're far, far less effective against the delta variant. that worries me, because it means
