mr. kleinsuppose the most dramatic development today was matt sandusky, jerry sandusky's adopted son, came forward, saying he too was a victim of abuse at the hands of jerry sandusky. what was your reaction and your client's reaction to that bombshell as it turned out to be? >> piers, i was just going to use the same term you used. it was a bombshell. apparently mr. sandusky's son, adopted son, matt, was actually talking to the prosecutors. that was the reason. so it's believed sandusky didn't take the stand in his own defense. so it was a dramatic development both in the courtroom and outside of the courtroom today. >> how do you feel the trial has gone in term also of your client's interest and those of the other young people who came forward who claimed they've been abused as children? >> well, i've been in the courtroom every day, from the opening statements, until the end of the closing arguments and the jury charge. i saw every witness testify. there was a mountain of evidence that was pr

mr. klein, doorgood morning. >> second degree man slotter to include bully side.e considers juveniles? >> the legislation would merely bring stalking laws as well as aggravated harassment laws into the 21st century, the digital age. we can bring cases against young people for stalking and aggravated harassment. i think just adding the crime of cyberbullying to crimes makes a lot of sense. i think we have to be mindful of the fact that things have changed. words can kill. you know in the past we used to tell our kids sticks and stone can break your bones but words can never harm you. now we're seeing words can kill. >> the survey that we mentioned the results again, they are alarming, 68% say that they had witnessed or been the victim of cyberbullying, 70% believe that cyberbullying should be illegal. 94% identified at least one form of cyberbullying in the survey. why does your legislation only target cyberbullying. >> i think it was important to develop a comprehensive piece of legislation here in new york state. and i throughout the best way to find out how we c

. >> mr. klein the things that struck me and struck a lot of folks, listening to the trial and after the verdict was read, the thinking that there are a lot more -- a lot more victims out there, at this point, any indication how many more victims we're talking about? >> publicly, we know there were documents filed during the discovery leadup, where mr. sandusky's lawyers were conducting discovery and got significantly more by the way in any criminal trial known to me in pennsylvania and they filed an interesting document asking the attorney general of pennsylvania for the information that they -- the attorney general has on victims 11 to 20. we know there are that many and we know about matt sandusky. i believe the attorney general's office has done just a marvelous job in sorting through all of the information they had. they were ten for ten in ten cases prosecuted against mr. sandusky. you have to keep in mind mr. sandusky didn't win one verdict from mr. sandusky. ten separate claims and they went
