mr. thomas, in an economy like this, people often cut back on entertainment. is there a way that you can keep some of the entertainment at the lincoln theatre low cost so more people can keep more revenue coming in? >> that's one of our top priorities is making sure the programming is affordable to all residents. we're going to have something for everyone. we're going to have educational programs for young people. we're going to have programs that address the diverse elements of our city. we are really going to make a real, concerted effort to keep the tickets at an affordable price so everyone can enjoy this rich jewel on u street. >> mr. thomas, you also want to make it a place that's welcoming and attractive to attend and that means restoration. that means funds. how are you going to go about getting those restoration funds and what will be the first priority in that venture? >> well, the city has devoted some capital funds to improve the -- and make some needed renovations to the theatre. there are some electrical issues that need to be addressed and then there are some other things that we need to do to make it more welcoming f
