mrs. steenkamp, good morning to you.r to the parole board and you strongly opposed the release of oscar pistorius. you received word that in fact that release was being delayed on what would have been riva's 32nd birthday. what was your reaction? >> it was a shock. i'm very, very pleased about that. it's an important thing for other people, other women. the justice system is coming through for us now. >> although mrs. steenkamp the way i read it and understand it, this is less about whether the justice minister thinks it's right or wrong for oscar pistorius to be released and more about a legal technicality that the parole board made this decision too early. they should have waited a couple months longer. so are you worried this is just a short delay and that he will be released in the near future? >> i'm not worried about if it's a short delay. it's been set before him to wait now until the time is right. and you know, we struggle in this country with respect for women. and i think it's giving justice now to reeva. my d
