ms. crowley. i talked to the chairman of the debate commission, and heíww- just expanded the discussion period to two minutes. crowley, they argue, always had the opportunity to ask questions. the controversy over the last few days about whether she might insert herself too much they say essentially has always been b,bq)z?%÷!o$4bhebtÇj out, she had the opportunity to, quote, facilitate. way too much emphasis on whether she's limited. she'll have the opportunity to ask questions and two-minute discussion following that. a lot of pregame buzz about the rules. the bottom line is the shep? >> shepard: carl, thanks. the rules are specific. they'll give you a chuckle from time to time. "time" magazine published the agreement between the campaigns that lays out the regulations. among them, the candidates cannot bring in any charts, no notes, no portable electronic devices. the candidates can't ask each other any questions directly or propose any pledges to each other. they can't even walk outside a design
