ms. landis, thank you. i looked at the budget and the work plan. i think that the buckets are in the general place they should be. you have taken direction from the commission. i'm not someone who believes in micro managing you from up here in terms of what f.t.e. belongs where because i -- i don't think it's appropriate. i've been in your shoes as a manager in the city and i just -- i think you know best how to allocate your resources with staffing. that's your biggest, you know, cost. that said, there are priorities that we have seen and you've -- sitting here, you've seen us struggle with. and tenant protections are a big one. with all due respect, i don't think it should be one position. my expectation is that every single planner will be trained on the rent board ordinance and will look out for those things. and i think it's related to what we're talking about in terms of, you know, our desire that planners are invested in, that there's capacity-building. that there is professional development. we have a healthy line item for that in the budge
