today, ginaington mccarthy revealed the ms changes new standards for a limiting carbon production att is why we are here today. isare here to announce epa taking those important steps in proposals to eliminate pollutions from power plants. they'of crehebon pollution. if these plants can admit it -- they can eliminate their carbon pollution by taking advantage of more advanced technology. these technologies offer th a clear path way forward today and in the long-term. proposed standards are the first uniform national limit on carbon pollution in new power plants. they do not apply to the existing power plants. it might be well if i repeated that one more time so that everyone gets it. these proposed standards are the first national standard on new plants, they do not apply to existing power plants. today's proposal does said national limits for national gas natural gaspar plants -- gas plants. need togas plants would be a limit of 1100 pounds of co2 output per hour. choose to alsold have some additional x -- average their missions by meeting a somewhat tighter limit. >> entire remarks
