mt. pocono. and that is one chilly day. the average high this time of the year is 54. we got up to 45. tomorrow we may add a whole degree to that. and then we gradually creep up. we're not talking about anything close to the 72 degrees that we had on saturday. we may not even get to 60 coming up in the next ten days in my forecast, at least. 30 to 35-mile-an-hour gusts. we saw gusts up to 47 in philadelphia today. 48 in lancaster. and 54 miles an hour in harrisburg. the future feels-like temperatures are based on sustained winds, not the gusts. it's going to be feeling like the 20s throughout the area by 9:00. and as we go toward tomorrow morning, when you get up and get out, go to a bus stop or whatever, yeah, it's going to be really cold. it's cold and it's going to still be windy. and it's windy much of the day tomorrow. that's going to keep those feels-like temperatures down. by tomorrow afternoon, feeling like 41. that's about as good as we're going to get. and then tuesday night and into wednesday morning, it's going to feel pretty cold too. that's a day and a half from now. by w

mt. pocono and the feels like temperature did hit the low 40s this afternoon now backing off into the upper 30s. high pressure is in control right now, you can see the clouds fall ago part once the sunsets and the lake-effect snow machine finally shut off in new york state there as the clouds break apart. we have a new system that is now developing between wichita and omaha, you see a spin there, bringing precipitation in the form of rain for omaha, st. louis on the brisk of chicago and it bumps into the colder air and snow near minneapolis. this is the travel trouble spot in this part of the country for the day tomorrow. for tonight winds continue to diminish, down to 5 to 10 miles per hour in a few hours. and cold efgt night so far this fall season dropping back to 23 in the lehigh valley. and 40 for philadelphia, the first time we have gone below freezing in philadelphia this fall. and then tomorrow back up into the upper 40s a little seasonable. here with high clouds and a decent amount of sunshine and in and around the city of philadelphia, similar number, 49 degrees and light winds fr
