mt. pocono it's 40 degrees and 45 in trenton and 50 in wilmington. here is an update. 53 already in dover, delaware, and 51 at atlantic city airport. that is mild just a normal high usually of 43. satellite 6 along with action radar showing we started with clouds and a couple of drizzle drops there this morning. for now the clouds are starting to thin and certainly we can see more clouds out to the west. and a day of sunshine and clouds, looking pretty than it did yesterday and milder as well. 51 is your high at 12:00 and down 49 at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 the low 40s and by that time the winds are picking up at 24 miles per hour at times. feeling cooler than that as you factor in the wind, if you go to the eagles game forget the number of 51 and focus on 38. it's chilly. and 10:0035 degrees for the afternoon forecast and tomorrow still mild and not as warm as 51 but we'll take it. high pressure is in control and it starts nice with sunshine and then more clouds filling in as the day progresses, so a change, day for friday. how about -- did you see that?

mt. pocono is now down to 31 degrees. let's take a look at what's going to be happening from here on through the night from meteorologist sheena parveen. >> as glenn mentioned, a cold rain across the area, and in the poconos, we're seeing the snow in the poconos, but for the rest of the area, we will be dealing with the rain, heavy at times for the evening rush. here's the hour by hour, parts of newcastle county, along the i-95 corridor from wilmington through philadelphia up to trenton, our pennsylvania suburbs especially. so many areas that have seen the heavy rain, even reports of sleet, that should be continuing as we go through the rest of tonight. that's 6:00 p.m. snow continues, by 7:00 p.m. now through the poconos, accumulations of maybe two to four inches, especially in those higher elevations, and the rain and precip continues, we could even see some snow showers in the upper elevations of lehigh valley, like some of those ski resorts as you get closer to th. and we'll be watching like glenn mentioned those temp

mt. pocono. it should not amount to much maybe a coating to an inch in the higher elevations as the system swings through. 44 was our high, 45 is the average high. philadelphia 43 right now and trenton and wilmington 40 and cape may 41 and allentown and reading 38 degrees. what a difference a year makes though. today's high 44 and tomorrow 42 thursday is when the high plummets to 24 degrees but this time period last year, we had record warmth, 71, 70 and 69. record el niÑo last year a completely different weather pattern now. satellite 6 along with action radar showing a cold front i'm tracking right now just pushing into the poconos, we have low pressure down to the south. that moves to the east and what means that the front as it pulls through kind of falls apart. future tracker 6 showing at 10:30 perhaps a few snow flurries up across the lehigh valley. and 3:00 in the morning could get a sprinkle or flurry and nothing more than that. and tomorrow morning the sunshine is back and tomorrow shoul

mt. holly, 45 degrees. poconos getting closer to freezing right now. tomorrow will be one of those days when we're dry, temperatures mostly in the 40s. we'll be watching one small weather system approaching. for the rest of tonight, by 7:00 p.m., 44 degrees. by 10:00, upper 30s. it will feel right around freezing by 10:00 p.m. tomorrow morning, another cold start to your day. a look at your weather system i was mentioning for a small chance of maybe wintry mix across part of the area. we're looking at tomorrow night now. the day tomorrow is going to stay dry. you'll notice clouds increasing again. snow will be up to our north, rain just to our south. this is all part of one weather system. we'll be kind of in the middle of both of these and in a little bit of a dry slot. if you're south of philadelphia, south jersey and delaware, you can see a stray shower. north, closer to the poconos, lehigh valley, you could see a stray snow shower. we'll be watching those chances closely. tomorrow doesn't look like a big deal but you will need the heavy ier coat in
