mt. pocono wasn't all that cold at 48 degrees. that may be a sign of the atmosphere warming up over all. as we take a look at the lehigh valley, burke's county and only 42 in blanden and 46 in redding and allentown is 45 and bethlehem 44 and nazareth 47 degrees. we are not only quiet along the east coast, all the way back into the middle of the country. a gigantic area of high pressure covering the entire half of the country that is going to give us beautiful, sunny weather for another couple of days. all the way into the weekend. as we go through the day today. temperatures getting up near 70. nothing but sunshine. again, low humidity and relatively light winds and we're going to be seeing similar conditions as we go through the next few days, too. we could see going up into the 60s to near 70. there is the area of high pressure. it's warm from the rockies all the way to the east coast. so, it's going to take a while before any significant cooling comes. as you can see over the next several days, temperatures way above the averag

mt. pocono. that's unusually warm for this time of the year. as we take a look in new jersey, we have a few places in the 40s. swedesboro, mullica hill at 47. powells grove, 48. it's 50 at atco. 46 at pemberton, to the north, the low princeton reading at 43 degrees. 52 in hope well township. lots of sunshine expected today from coast almost the coast. at least out into the reeks. not much moisture in the country here. and that means temperatures will be able to go up because of nothing but sunshine. there may be places that get higher than that. center city could get -- even get into the mid 70s today. lansdale at 73. allentown at 72. voorheis at 74. the jersey shore, as you see, into the mid 70s because of that northwest wind. this will be a lapd breeze instead of the sea breeze that we've had over the last couple of days. and over the weekend, the temperature continues to go up, upper 70s by sunday. even warmer on monday. then the dramatic change comes starting on tuesday. we'll get into that a little later. >> yeah. we'll talk about the dram
