mt. washington. it is down into the single digits this morning. high temperatures going anywhere from the lower half of the 40's up north to upper half of the 40's in southern areas. places like nashua later on this afternoon. the chance approaching 50 degrees. it is going to be a quick climb later this morning. notice the wind around five to ten miles an hour. an good deal of sunshine into the afternoon. high clouds start to drift in late today and into this evening. notice a passing shower chance overnight. most of that will be in liquid form. if you are going to see it, the chance really only around 20%. best chance will be up tomorrow you'll notice quite a few clouds early. the chance of a passing shower. temperatures tomorrow back into the 50's just about statewide. 50's to lower range of the 60's on wednesday. again we're not going to be able to completely shake that shower chance wednesday or thursday. thursday will be out ahead of the next front that eventually arrives. with that, temperatures ahead of that will be in the lower half of the

mt. washington this weekend. a 22-year-old woman from maine was hiking up the ammonoosuc ravine trail when she felt ill. she was able to hike down with help from officers and her boyfriend. hospital for treatment. no word on how she's doing this morning. >>> the scary scene in laconia sunday when a 106. the laconia fire department says a ford 250 was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived on the scene. no one was hurt. no ward on what started the fire. in rochester, a motorcycle crash backed up traffic sunday morning. police say the driver of the motorcycle abruptly stopped and was rear ended by a car. the biker was taken to the hospital with none life threatening injuries. >>> a driver hit a state troopers cruiser on 93 south in campton. they got a call yesterday saying a driver was weaving in and out of traffic. minutes later, the driver hit the cruiser. troopers arrested 63-year-old katherine d'angelo for driving while intoxicated. sergeant muzzey was treated for minor injury. >>> they launched a new web s

mt. washington also gets a lot of ice up there. you're seeing ice building up on things. we have a little bit of ice out there this morning as temperature s are on the chilly side. we have freeze warnings out then tonight because some areas we'll put another freeze warning up. this is primarily for the coast, for the south coast, the cape and the islands and the city of boston. boston technically did not get to the freezing mark because we take that reading out at logan airport. at logan airport it's just at 32 degrees. if you're in one of the western suburbs you know it's cold out there this morning. check out the temperatures. here are the current readings. we're seeing a lot of 20's. this is early for this kind of weather. we're supposed to be in the 60's for the highs. those are the clear skies out there at this point. as you widen out the view you see a few clouds. some of this is lake-effect snow we're talking about here. we'll get clouds to kind of pop up this afternoon so there will be a few clouds out there. could be a sprinkle or a flurry. sunshine this morning.

mt. washington is 34 degrees but look at that 66 in boston 66 providence. we're in the lower 60s from plymouth to new bedford. vineyards sitting at 61. so most communities are running 15 to 20 degrees warmer than we were at this time yesterday. look at cleveland pittsburgh, indianapolis, cincinnati lower 70s here. so this mild air is going to make a comeback after a cooler day tomorrow. now you may have noticed the winds out there gusty 22 miles per hour in boston. it's now subsided just a little bit on the cape. we had some gust is up around 30, 40 miles per hour even a few isolated gusts higher than that. it's active out there the winds out of the west southwest but it will continue to subside through the evening hours. variable amounts of clouds you get the sunshine that pokes through the clouds fill back in and there have been a couple of sprinkles at least earlier today. now we're mostly dry we're waiting on a cold front that's right along the canadian border right now. this front is going to dive southward overnight tonight. there's not a ton of moist
