mta's joint development partner. before you today is the potrero modernization project and initiation of general plan amendments associated with that project. before we ask you to take action on this initiation, we wanted to provide you with a fuller informational item on the entirety of the project. for today's presentation, i'm going to provide with a quick introduction and reminder of where we are with this project. give a broad overview of the project program and what will be before the planning commission in terms of approvals. and then i'm going to hand it over to mta and their joint development partner to provide you with a more in-depth review of the project. next slide. we were here before you in may 2021. also, as an informational presentation prior to the project beginning its environmental review and the publication of the environmental impact report. at that hearing, we described a process led by sfmta, but in partnership with us planning and other agencies and of course with the community to come up wit

raise fares the director of transportation and mta did not raise. what we lost from this fare increase. as well as being able to raise ref nows to remember how we -- refingerprint friday enforcing parking meters during the pandemic and we lost a bunch of ref nows then, too. we are still catching up where we need to be and at this time, we would imagine that while it would be painful we understand had not everybody is red and willing and able to pay for more fares. we recognize or rates higher rates. we recognize that we have extremely vulnerable people that take buss and for them it is more challenging to live and stay in san francisco. we have been left withingly recourse and those other tools that the mta has to keep service around and i would imagine mag that going forward with this decision what the way it is currently written, it does not feel like the people that would wroid would have a fair shot being able to stop the cuts that would come from a decision to stop the meters and the fares from raised. okay. i will jump in there. because inotro

i'm from the mta and so i think your questions are revolving around sloat. as monica pointed out, your future condition as a driver is that you will-say coming from the mission and decided to take 280 and off jane daily and up skyline and zoo member like myself and currently you come up great highway and enter through the gates off that. the future condition is you are going to stay on skyline and make a left at skyline and that is signalized so no longer have to deal with what we call stop controlled intersection and i know you know there is south bound double lane which is fairly precarious which is why we signalize it. you will be traveling west and you are correct, you travel west through 47th avenue and the way to access the zoo entrance which is west of 47th avenue is this turn around and it will be a fairly gracious turn around and there are concerns about it. that said, this doesn't preclutd a future condition. the current design and implementation and so if there are future thoughts that we want to modify or consider, that is available depending on
