covid did happen in here but i would love to hear from mta are we on track? >> yes we have dan howard the program manager for the project manager for this project available virtual to peek to this. great. this is dan the project for train control upgrade project. i have one slide. the updated schedule. but to answer your questions directly, the we sprnlsd 11 months delay in the project push back ntp from february 2024 to january of 25. and the reason for that was the projects had we had the mt aboard approve the rfp in january of 2023. we got the rfp out late february of 23. had a month delay out due to review from the city attorney's office. requested 3 extensions 5 months of time extended by 5 months bring its to sick months. knowing this we had that interest in that level of negotiations we took a look at our procure am schedule and added time for best and final offers. and for negotiations knowing this this is the come plex negotiation. than we had envisioned. as a result we pushed back this time line by 11 month. that's reflected on the schedule up in fr

i'm from the mta and so i think your questions are revolving around sloat. as monica pointed out, your future condition as a driver is that you will-say coming from the mission and decided to take 280 and off jane daily and up skyline and zoo member like myself and currently you come up great highway and enter through the gates off that. the future condition is you are going to stay on skyline and make a left at skyline and that is signalized so no longer have to deal with what we call stop controlled intersection and i know you know there is south bound double lane which is fairly precarious which is why we signalize it. you will be traveling west and you are correct, you travel west through 47th avenue and the way to access the zoo entrance which is west of 47th avenue is this turn around and it will be a fairly gracious turn around and there are concerns about it. that said, this doesn't preclutd a future condition. the current design and implementation and so if there are future thoughts that we want to modify or consider, that is available depending on

so these are community members who are never at the planning table, who are talking with bart mta bay area air quality management district, the planning department and others. and we said that we can make this happen. it's possible. and we have this vision and you need to help us to get there so that people powered community planning process that we did in 2011 and then finished and published a report in 2012. we're invited. rest in peace. former mayor ed lee to come. and we gave him valentines on february 13th, 2012. so here is our report out. this is what we need and we would love for you at the event called home is where the heart is on that ocean avenue presbyterian church space that we had 100 people gathered. we had hundreds of community members out there doing surveys, making sure we knew what we wanted, what we needed, and what the city needed to do to step forward and get this housing for us. so we're very happy. 130 units of housing are here. there's a lot more work we need to do. some of our community got displaced, but we have we lost some of our community members. they're
