if the mta is administering the contract.pla does not apply to them, they the poa would not apply. so it would depend on which of the two agencies are issuing the construction contract. but it's the intent of public works to comply with the po. we would obviously confirm that with the city attorney, but that's the intent. and you said importantly, as you're creating your your internal procedures once once this is authorized, correct. under administrative code 6.20 f, subparagraph one, it does allow if for the development of a pre-qualified list of vendors, the department had to determine some of the provisions in terms of how those vendors are selected. and that would likely be something that we would incorporate into that process. right. and then after that, you're no longer required to go through a solicitation process. once you've created that list of pre-qualified vendors. correct. we would follow the provision for three years. correct. got it. and then just through the chair to the city attorney, just ask same question.

mta fees may only be waived by the mta board, and this legislation encourages the mta board to adopt a fee waiver consistent with this proposal. we are pleased by all of the collaboration with mta and other mentioned city departments and agencies around the scope and implementation of this program to evaluate the impacts on events and city resources in an ongoing way. the department's waiving fees would be required to annually report the events, receiving fee waivers and the amount of fees waived to both the board of supervisors and the mayor. this does not include public works, given the very limited intersection between public works permitting and neighborhood outdoor events. this waiver would also not exempt event producers from city requirements that involve expenses that are not considered city fees. so, for example, where required, event producers would still need to provide barricades, toilets, drinking water and ems services. additional limitations any block that would require a rerouting of transit service to be closed is only eligible for three total fee waivers per calenda

we were fortunate when we came to the mta and said, hey, we are ready for changes and want our streets to be save and want equity to thrive. throw any and every pilot at us. we are willing to accept it. we want to see our streets safer. every street in the tenderloin is part of a high injury network. the high est density of children. we have the most people with disabilities, wheelchairs, mobility device users in the city. a large population of seniors. we have lot of public safety issues and street safety issues, so we are really grateful we have the opportunity to make some improvements. like the pilot of changing all the speed limit throughout our neighborhood to 20miles a hour. no right throughout the whole knhunty. the tenderloin was able to pilot those programs. those are successful and spread throughout the city and through the state. we are very proud that. we hope that continues to grow, escuilate and build a deep relationship with the city and advocates and community members that deeply want to see the streets change and have more access. we need to really focus on unfortunat

individual agencies that expressed interest in the program and taking it on were the mta, recreation and parks and the public library, and individual agency leadership would allow for more discretion and control of the project without having to take into account different ways of doing things and different departments with different operations and faster implementation if it is just one entity involved in decision making, but if it is individual department running a project, there is lack of a city wide approach, and some reinventing the wheel by individual agencies doing the same project themselves, rather then in a coordinated way. a multiple agency implementation strategy would include more departments and establish the possibility of adding more departments in order to expand the network more readily. but it would need a lead agency to oversee the project in terms of funding and maintenance. a weakness of this approach is, there would be more meetings involved basically and need for more coordination and communication. and then, there were some slides that were in the presentatio
