so, i want to point to the mta board obviously i am on the board to help the agency promote access ink that they do. also, to help ensure that we are transparent or public and and i'm here to engage and hear your concerns and we really want to make sure that all of the operations made here is public as they can be. from an access standpoint, people will think about access on muni but i want to make sure that our streets and shared spaces and as we think of creating uses for the public right-of-way, i want to make sure those programs are as accessible as possible and it gets into some of the priorities that are on the mta and most of you snow and agency is for the muni service at the time so really think about when we can assuming, at some point, we can ratchet up our service and increase the number of lines and the board is going to have to think about how we, and the agency in general, has to think about how we prioritize that so being making sure it's done equitably. a couple of factors that will go into other where we can restore lives is when the number of our vehicles capacity ca

sf mta board directors voted to keep the north end of twin peaks boulevard off limits to drivers. the burnett avenue gate to twin peaks would remain open for bicyclists and pedestrians and the potola drive entrance and christmas tree road parking lot will be open to drivers. sf mta leaders say during the pandemic, foot traffic went up drastically and they're trying to make the stretch of the street safe for pedestrians. >>> the towering ferris wheel in golden gate park is set to start giving rides again this week. the new 150-foot sky star observation wheel was only remember for a few weeks before it shut down. the shutdown itself brought it to a halt but it will reopen at noon tomorrow thanks to san francisco's new red tier status that we're talking about. in the meantime, san francisco's historic preservation commission will discuss whether to allow the wheel to continue spinning in the park until march of 2025. see if it keeps going around. >> do they have a web cam. i would just stare on my computer. >> there you have an opportunity, but then you can go up and around maybe as

during my short almost seven months on the mta board, there's been many topics i've had to advocate thatect impact on our community including the adoption of the racial equity plan, vision zero budget, other areas i have consistently asserted attention to is on improving and increasing language access for our community as well as contract management. these topics may not seem exciting but to me are emblemattic around the agency's accountability that i continue to pursue. i am also pleased to join the policy and governance committee. i very much enjoyed applying my urban background with my work on mta which has helped me jump into technical issues and building relationships with the community staff and my diverse set of colleagues. i wanted to take a moment to address supervisor chan's question around the re-opening and essentially my guiding principles in helping to support staff's work. i think as i mentioned already, i will certainly be leading, continuing to lead with my various hats on as an urban planner, as a mother of young children struggling to get them to school and myself back
