you appointed me to the mta board. you grow, you realize they got elected, too, i do have got to work with them. i think progressive can be a latino agenda, but we have got to move it forward it in a way that understands the country is divided, and let's focus on things most people agree on. gloria: we have a question, and i am going to read this. if you go by exit polls, trump got the latino vote share in florida and texas but still lost the majority in those states. the same poll shows trump not improving at all in california. do you think that shows california did a good job in both policymaking and politics? mindy, do you want to take this one? mindy: i don't think so, necessarily, i think it is just a reflection of our overall politics in this state. and democratic voter registration among latinos, for instance. i will leave it there. gloria: cesar, anything to add? cesar: california is disneyland for democrats and latinos. it is a great place. think of other parts of the country. in a way, you have a situation ri

i'm with the advisory team in san francisco and advising mta on the project. board member heminger, we did conduct both a financial analysis of the bus yards component which is that component that will be paid by the mta through the availability payments and eventually amilestone payment at completion of construction . so it's a combination of both milestone payments and availability payments that makesup that revenue stream that you were referring to . the mta would be, it would make to the developer to pay back the investment and to pay for the ongoing facility maintenance of essentially the shell of the facility . separately there would be separatefinancing which would be that of the housing . that would be the normal type of housing financing that you would expect for a project of that type and nature in san francisco. those are two separate financings. the housing financing would be payback from the normal housing revenue you wouldexpect . financial pay , financing sources for affordable housing. >> but that's all sealed off fromthe mta . >> correct. those are

i in general don't like delegating authority from the mta boards to the mta director.owever, if that's the prior action that the mtaboard then so be it . i think at minimum it would be helpful to have public reports annually for quarterly on the mta director transportation exercising that delegated authority with respect to master agreements and the other types of agreements that are contemplated in this arrangement with the state and those reports should be posted online and not simply put in some folder down that somebody like me isgoing to take the time to go read . i'm not even sure that this kind of exercise of delegated authority needs to be reported to the board of supervisors for at least there should be some public recording on use of that delegated authority otherwise i have no objection to approving this. it seems like it's a charter section 9.1 contract which his wife before you and i have no problem with the city receiving the caltrans funds for the reference project if i have anything further i'm sure i can follow up with mister ramos or mister goldberg.
