that is the top of mt. diablo. that's what people are seeing this morning, a lot of the red cross workers taking pictures. now and then you see this really flare up and the orange glow on the ridge. the red cross says they are ready to help anyone who shows up. most people, though, who left, are probably staying with family and friends. because of the threat to their homes evacuations have been ordered now for trail, ridge road, wrestleman park road, east trail, upper trail and lower trail. there are 24 homes in that area. that have been evacuated in addition to the ones evacuated earlier at oak hill lane and curry canyon area. 50 to 75 structures threatened. some telling us they have so much land near their homes that they are afraid if the dry brush goes up in flames that they could lose their home. we spoke with one man who says he wasn't home but his wife was. >> she was nervous, on the phone, she was scared. yeah. definitely. talking to her on the phone i told her not to panic and i could feel panic in her voi
