( darya ) new this morning --- a morgan hill man is behind bars, charged with 6 counts of child moslestation. morgan hill police say arturo padilla turned himself in late last night. in november, police say they got a report of sexual assault of a minor and padilla was developed as a suspect. they made several attempts to bring him in before this --- but were not able to find him... and he eventually came in and turned himself in. he has since been transported to the santa clara county ( darya ) police released a sketch of a man who beat an 88-year-old woman near a san francisco park last week. here is the sketch of the man believed to be the attacker. the assault happened last tuesday morning. police responded to a home on the 1000- block of visitacion avenue. the attacker was seen leaving the home,

we got reports of a mudslide on southbound 17 at sugarloaf. one lane is open. crews are hoping to have both lanes open within the next two hours. the conditions are affecting drivers in we caught up with this accident just past the summit. a driver who spun out. even the tow truck drivers are station that area waiting to come to the rescue. they are urging people to use caution. one caltrans truck was hit by an out-of-control car on 17 yesterday. it caused minor damage. crews say there is no excuse for people driving too fast in these conditions. >> we are used to it. we need to slow down. they get in an accident and traffic gets all backed up and everyone's in a hurry. it should be okay. we are ready. >> if are going out in the rain, take your time. >> reporter: back here in saratoga, pg&e crews are working on this power outage. no word on when power might be restored. they say this is a relatively complicated outage for them to try to deal with. >>> we have seen a lot of rain today and a lot more heavy rain is on the way. let's go to bill martin with what to

heavy rain led to flooding in mudslides yesterday.er helped rescue one driver who is stuck in a car that overturned on highway 17 at summit road. the officer wedged herself between the car and the mud to help pull the driver out before the car slid down the hill. >> i was talking to our and trying to see if she could free herself. she was able to pull herself out of the back window. >> a few miles away, a mudslide covered a part of bear creek road. those driving through, they tried to get through even though they were being warned of being stuck or swept away. >> the rest of the mountain could slide, or the tree could fall on them. so, we tell them it is up to them. >> you could see the roots coming out of the side of the mountain. as i am driving i am thinking one of these things is going to drop on me any minute. but all up and down the mountain i saw a lot of trees down. >> if you see any roads with mudslides are flooding, you are advised to stay away from that area. >> and call it in, too so someone else nose. >> deftly. >>> is 5:

and in oakland hills, a mudslide shutting down offramp to highway 13. part of the soggy hillside gave way near park boulevard. about an hour ago crews reopened the ramp. >>> an on-ramp in oakland flooded earlier today. chopper five over the area at seventh street. it was closed due to 3 feet of water. caltrans worked to clear the on- ramp and it was reopened about four hours later. >>> still saw showers left over from all this. winds have pretty much died down but we still have rain? >> showers especially in the north. even after the front moved through the storm so strong, it kept the machine running here, well into the early afternoon. let's look at radar right now. one spot still getting rainfall is the northbay. santa rosa, have your shower just passed by you. the focus has now shifted to the mountains, always a lag time when the rain stops around here, it continues to snow most often amounts. look at these rainfall totals just from this week. los gatos hills about 4 miles from downtown nearly 8 inches. lake sonoma nearly 5 inches of rain. san franc
