in an op-ed, muhammad nuru and carla short, mentioned the survey only in passing and not by name. hopefully in the next few years, buff will get an accurate tree monitoring system, and until then they will use anecdotal data, and as a result, urban canopy will suffer as a result. thank you. [buzzer] >> next speaker. >> hi, my name is diane sheretta, thank you. i have a personal story about a tree in my neighborhood. i've lived in the same neighborhood for 15 years on and off, and i walk up and down the street, and there is beautiful, large growth, mature growth trees. at present, one of the trees directly in front of our apartment is slated to be taken down. and i'm just here to say that that tree has been there for 15 years. and i don't know why it is slated to be taken down. but i it has never obscured anyone's need to walk up and down the street, even though the pavement is coming off around it. i wonder if there are any other pocket possibilities about how the sidewalk could be addressed to accommodate the tree's needs, as opposed to having the tree taken down? >> thank you.
