her work is in the permanent collection at sf noma, museum of modern art in new york to name a few. she states that her work tends toward reconsideration of the over looked, neglected, forgotten and forsaken and she works in a variety of media from fabric, metal concrete and glass. for this project she did research about the history of treasure island, particularly the 1939 world's fair and she recognized there was an opportunity to remake a lost art work. she had seen a promotional video for the 1939 world's fair and she noticed behind the massive sculpture of the mythical figure pacifica in the seven seas, there was 100 foot tall silver chime curtain which tinkled the tranquil song of peace. she would like to propose a variation of that, give it depth, orient horizontally and in addition to creating sound, it would have numerous spinning elements of different sizes that would harness the wind coming off the bay. it would include an assortment of pattern and open work that would allow for a good amount of transparency to take advantage of the view of the bay, the city and the lands
