milton myers built this house. as it's been mentioned the property is on an upslope, while it's a single story residence, it's all around the lengthy front footage of the property giving a sweeping view from every room from 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen. the neighbors don't object to the project sponsors improving their property, they would like to see them do so in a way that if it meets their needs. they do object modifying in a way that takes away from the historic property and in mpinges on the mid block open space. as soon as the property went on the market prior to the death of the own, the neighbors listed to the broker that they would object that this development to the project plate applicants are now proposing that they would oppose this. the dr applicants would like to work with the sponsors to develop a plan that will satisfy their needs and be acceptable to everyone. they have not had that opportunity. the project applicants selected to proceed by developing the plans and seeking app

nbc's senior investigative correspondent lisa myers has that story. >> reporter: 68-year-old caroline davis is being treated for breast cancer at the charleston cancer center in south carolina. but she recently had to start getting her infusions of a costly chemo drug called herceptin at a nearby hospital outpatient facility. >> it is the waiting when i get in, it is just not like at the cancer center. >> reporter: caroline says all the waiting at the hospital adds to her level of exhaustion. dr. charles holiday says his center had no choice, but to send some patients elsewhere for chemo when it is part of the sequester medicare cut reimbursements to doctors who administered the drugs by 2%. some private clinics are finding that harder to absorb than hospitals. >> approximately 75% of our most commonly used chemo therapeutics cost us more to administer than we're reimbursed. we can't continue to function that way. >> reporter: this clinic decided it could no longer see one-third of its 16,000 cancer patients. >> they have to ship their care somewhere for them to sereceive chemo drugs

chad myers is here. what did they find? >> don, this story makes my brain hurt.blood pressure taken. i don't know what's going on here, trying to get your head around this thing. they know that there's something out there holding the galaxies from just exploding. see the galaxies, see pictures, but why don't they keep moving, change direction, why don't they change location? they think there's something else out there that's grooving it all together. we just don't know. if you took old courses back in college, you don't know what you don't know. we don't even know what we're looking for. that's part of the problem. so, think about trying to make a recipe with chicken and never seen a chicken before. that's the idea. we're trying to find out what's holding this together. they put a spectrometer on the space station two years ago and they are finding particles now coming from dark places. there should be nothing coming from here, should be no posi trons from this direction. they are getting close. they don't know what they are finding. i'm fine, my blood pressure i
