myrtle, the 80-year-old green sea turtle, got her meal of brussels sprouts and squid -- her favorite snack. she happily munched away. she loves brussels sprouts. [laughter] sean: high school students from the project smart program at unh are learning about the environment in a really interesting way. they launched a high-altitude balloon that took two hours to reach the edge of space at the balloon burst and the payload was recovered in maine. apparently, when you are up there studying that, you get some incredible views. erin: amazing. they are doing real research that will be used. kevin: there was a project where they launched a balloon, as well as one on the west coast last saturday to see if there was a difference in radiation. erin: that is what this is from. kevin: pretty amazing stuff. lots of sunshine expected and it will be milder into the afternoon. that puts you in the upper 30' s in parts of the north country even though you start in the teens to mid 40' s in the southern spots. not as cold later on tonight. we will drop into the 20' s and 30' s, which denotes progress.
