we have about over a four-foot surge in myrtle beach. we have reports of that coming in at the moment. it seems as though it's gotten past the dunes in myrtle beach. that's being pushed in there. that's going to go on record for the third highest storm surge they have seen there historically. we're still clocking in at 85 miles per hour as far as the wind gust is concerned. it's definitely picked up speed moving to the north at 14 miles per hour. the heaviest rain bands are whipping well into south carolina at the moment and all the way up the coast into north carolina in parts of virginia there. as we continue to look at the winds, we did get a 92-mile-per-hour wind gust that clocked in in charleston harbor not too long ago. we're looking at some of the stronger winds near charleston and myrtle baef. the big concern as we head through the remainder of the day is going to be this flooding. it will begin to weaken, but that's when we'll see a lot of the effects being far felt and far reaching farther inland. we already have flash flooding
