where the storm becomes a category 1 hurricane, somewhere in here and runs along the coast between myrtle beach. toward moorehead city. it could be further away, but it's somewhere in the middle probably. we're going to have intense winds and rain. a large area with significant rip currents. this is not a landfall problem hurricane, this is a rip current problem hurricane. we're going to lose people because they're in the ocean, swimming, happy as can be, look at the pretty waves. the problem is when the sand bar breaks, we'll get people torn out to sea. you always see it off shore, it's that lighter area of stand off shore. it comes over the sand bars and plays around here where the people are. when it breaks through here, there is an erosion issue. and the erosion takes the water with it at 35 to 45 miles per hour. and things get sucked out. if you can get here and get back around. but that's not what your body wants to do. it was to fight with because you're getting sucked out to sea. i have down ne it once, it's no fun thing. that's the issue with this and it does not map, except you're doi

she pick this week to take a vacation with her family, always goes to myrtle beach, beautiful condo they have there. look at it today. arthur dropped by for a visit! >> hurricane? what hurricane? since the last time we were together, can you seat umbrellas on the beach there? they're still setting up the umbrellas, and setting up beach chairs. but the thing that you can't see because that is little bit further up the beach, put the red flags out for no swimming. so, that's the deal. because there is a hurricane, 170 miles off shore. outer bands, winds whipping up every once in a while, we'll have a lull, get some rain, then have a lull, and that's the way it goes with hurricanes. you get the bands of rain and wind. and then we expect this out of tonight. for us the fourth of july should be fine. cancelling fireworks displays at the jersey shore, delaware beaches, but the bigotries being there, here, the dangerous rip currents, been talking about it all morning long. so if you want to sit on the beach, that's okay, but you're not supposed to be in the water while things are so dangerous.
