it's not your homes. this time the israeli army steps back. soldiers don't want witnesses. with nadav khalil's main square, a forbidden territory for the palestinians. what we're about to see is part of the occupations. daily routine: a 15-year-old palestinian girl is arrested in a checkpoint. she is taken inside a police station and disappears for some time. she is accused of trying to stab a soldier. when she is taken outside, her hands are tied, and she is heavily guarded by soldiers and police. she is left under the sun for hours and this is what happens next. for this palestinian teenager, this is just the beginning of a long nightmare. an israeli police officer takes photos of the girl. in the middle of the street, in front of everybody. finally, she is taken away. she will be taken to a military base, will face a military court and will end in a military jail. to learn more about the future of this palestinian teenager, we should travel to jerusalem alcuds. we're going to meet gerard halton, a lawyer and co-founder of military court watch. it's an organization of mostly lawyers

i was in israel for nadav's funeral and his daughter's funeral. it was a devastating double funeral. and i've been here for the past two weeks, holding my breath and yesterday was finally able to get that big sigh of relief out. when i saw them on the screen. >> of course. the fact that that funeral was held on chen's birthday as she and her three children were still being held captive. how do the boys look? 9 and 11 years old. i know you haven't been able to physically hold them, but how did they look to you? >> so, just like most families who live far away, we were just staring at the screen yesterday and looking at every detail. when they were in the red cross envoy, i was able to see chen's shoulder and my kids and i were trying to get a glimpse of them. family photos show them very pale, very, very pale and frail, but outwardly in good condition. there are no wounds, they weren't shot. there's no visible physical wounds. in terms of emotional healing and what that will look like, we'll know in the coming days, and potentially even coming year
