(pam) also in the east bay... new video tonight showing a violent laptop robbery in berkeley. you can see a struggle between the two suspects and two witnesses ... who tried to stop the robbery. this happened on monday at cafe strada on college avenue. police say, a man stole a laptop from someone inside. the two good samaritans tried to stop the suspect ... and hold him until police got there. that is when a get-away car drove up... and the driver assaulted one of those witnesses. both suspects then got in the car and drove off. police are still looking for the men tonight. cafe strada has been targeted by thieves before. back in february... police arrested 6 people during an undercover sting.
