we are following breaking news in nampa and sonoma counties. at least five huge wildfires continue to burn out of control. they've been doing so all through the night as hundreds, possibly thousands have been evacuated. it is and wine country highways, 12 near palace toga, the silverado resort has been evacuated. they're asking people not to call 911 because there is smoke all through the bay area. smoke farther south in san francisco into san mateo county. flames are spreading. wilson walker has been in that area between highway 12 between napa and sonoma counties. it's very unpredictable, jumping roadways and making conditions dangerous. wilson, are you on the phone? [siren] we will hear from wilson walker very soon because he has been dealing with very trying conditions. with fire changing directions, you can see from the video, that the person is attempting to evacuate and then turning their vehicle around in the middle of the road as they see orange flames in front of them. we heard stories of fires burning on all sides of the roadway and

emac evacuees of the fire are headed here to this community church in downtown nampa. we've been speaking with them for the last several hours. joined me now is marlene rosenberg who is among the evacuees. she lives in the silverado resort area. what was that like when you got the knock on the door? >> the power had gone out. so we had opened our garage door. and the fireman was right there at her garage and he told us that we had to go right now. so we went with what we had. and we took the dog and that was it. and i have not been back. >> you have any been able to sleep? even think about what happened your home? >> exactly. everyone's home. there are a lot of people there that don't know what's going on. >> i just found out that somebody lost their home. and i know there are more. i can't wrap my head around what happened. and all these disasters that have been happening. it is now happening here. >> you tell me you've been there since 1975 and you've never seen anything like this? >> not to this extent. there have been fires and they burned some of the upper propert

we will get back up to 32%. 29 in nampa. 35 in santa rosa but as we go through the day tomorrow, humidity will drop back down to 15%. down to 20% in parts of santa rosa by thursday. recovery humidity but because everything is drying out, we also see our windspeed moving in from the north. that is particularly concerning. the weather service has issued a red flag warning which will stay in effect until 5 pm thursday. there's 3 different models and they track our future when guests as we go into the overnight hours especially closer to 11 pm, all the models start to agree you don't see a big difference. our confidence builds that we will see strong wind speeds overnight tonight around 11 o'clock continuing to the overnight hours. the same to for parts of napa into santa rosa. 2 am we will see when guests around 20, 25 miles per hour. it's not out of the realm of possibility we could see when guests back towards 45 miles per hour overnight. the windspeed still strong. as we head into the afternoon, it won't be until after 10 o'clock that we slowly start to see a lot of these numbers drop bac
