nancy. i love that she was so happy when she won. there was so much talk about viola davis winning.. what was it like in the room when the announcement said and the oscar goes to meryl streep? >> i got to tell you, the crowd inside the room went absolutely crazy. i felt like i was at a football game. there was so much hooting and hollering and people standing up. she and octavia were the two who got the standing ovations and meryl's was loud. cheers, people yelling if their seats. i think it was unexpected. people don't realize because she's been nominated so many times. this is only her third oscar. despite being nominated 70 times. she lost 12 times in a row. there were a lot of people so excited to see heroin. as you said, i think that one of the people who were most surprised were her. take a listen at part of her speech. >> when they called my name, i had this feeling i could hear half of america going oh, no. oh, come on. why her? again? you know. but whatever.
