. >> hello my name is nancy lopez and i was also working at the marshall at the after-school programission graduates a couple of years ago when this project with introduced at least to the public and we saw even during after-school programs that during those 3 hours i was there with the kids how much that was effecting not only their lives and families lives but their whole communities as a whole that has a cultural soica economic effect that effects their lives nothing else and permanent he grew up moving around 5 and more time as a child we were finding a new home that effected any schooling and a lot of things those children have been diagnosed with learning disabilities and if there's construction going on they wouldn't be able to focus and their health will be affected i've spoken to other teacher that he was sick after there was construction in oakland and had the same effect he was sick after that and the whole communities was causing - it has a really health effect especially on children and if there is traffic with the new parking lot so if we don't care about our youth than
