"today in the bay's" nannette miranda joins live this morning. what does this mean now, nannette? >> reporter: well no one knows a this the point. developers need this property in a few years. so time is running out for bay 101 to find someplace new. bay 101 opted move to milpitas where it could build a bigger facility, but state proposal allowing them failed to get state proovl and lawmakers have adjourned for the year on the saturday. again, it's unclear what san jose card room will do now. state law bans a card room now in santa clara county to move to another city within the county without approval from the current city. and san jose is unlikely to give that permission because it would mean lost tax revenue. they needed the bill to bypass that process and go directly to milpitas. now the lease expires in november of 2017. the card room doesn't have much time left to start construction and finish the new site by then. live in san jose, nannette miranda for "today in the bay." >> thanks so much, nannette. >>> over the weekend, the legislature did pass a number of bills including
