balsams, nantahalas, yancey, mitchell, avery county, you're in line for that much. southwest mcdowell and northern mcdowell and down through northwest rutherford. the dark blue 8 to 12 inches. polk, rutherford county. here's a stripe of four to eight inches in the upstate. areas north of i-85. we're thinking 4 to 8 inches will do it for you. spartanburg and cherokee. south of i-85, ice more prominent, especially as you go south in greenville county, laurens, abbeville county. here's your ice forecast. i think this is a little overdone but we could see up to half an inch of ice. lows tonight dropping down in to the 20s. cold enough for the snow and ice to begin and start to stick in the morning. temperatures will go only in the 30s tomorrow. below freezing all day in asheville, hendersonville. you'll get a little closer to freezing in the southern mountains but stay in the 20s in the northern mountains. we could see snow fall rates an inch per hour in some cases. still chances of snow likely early in the day. and then we go warmer as we dig out and start to see a mel
