we saw that fire break out last night in napa county.hat was just before 9:00 and it started just east of the silverado trail and just north of the town of napa and apparently, the winds were so gusty, they knocked over a power pole and then that started the fire and it burned about 90 acres including a home, a carport, and several outbuildings on the property. and then dozens of homes near to the property had to be evacuated. the good news is though nobody was injured. around 4:00 this morning the fire department said they had contained about 50% of the fire. they are still fighting winds to put the fire out. gusty winds were a problem in the east bay, as well. look at the dublin footage. winds were up to 35 miles per hour in livermore and reported winds up to 46 miles an hour in berkeley. that started a small grassfire in dublin off lawrence road burning 3.5 acres, not spreading to any buildings. but we are told one firefighter had small injuries. winds are to blame for power outages in the bay area. hundreds of people without power. i
