hopefully it is not year you and coming down from the napa fires.ve cooler temperatures and this looks to be the hottest day as high pressure builds, there is still no offshore breeze,p 0s -- 70s and 80s and 90s and lows are significant lower because we lost that breeze. i think 17 and there is 66 degrees and napa is 44, santa rosa 45 and they were 70 at this time and that's a huge drop, not far away from 70 including concord. 57 in san francisco, 58 also in mountain view and towards redwood city and foster city. still a component of an easterly or northerly breeze, incredible historic snow fall, over a foot in some areas, and they are comparing this to the 1880s and it is still snowing and stacking up and most of the records are one to four inches and turning the snow in omaha, it is just amazing. it will be back tomorrow and then we have a big surge by the weekend. 20s and 30s and 40s and high pressure comes today and it starts to cool down. it will be hot inland and most of the direction is offshore and that would not take much to warm things up.

the newest one is the soda fire in east napa county. these are photos from "the napa valley patch." this fire broke around 6:40 last night. it burned tow acres including a trailer. the -- it burned 20 acres including a trailer. the largest one is the 125-acre yellow fire in sonoma county. it badly damaged one home. no other homes are in the way. full containment is expected sometime at a. the other fire is the sigua fire in napa county. it burned 75 acres and a barn before fire crews got it under control, the silverado fire in napa county. >> cate, our fire season started a couple of weeks earlier than normal. do we have enough firefighters on hand? >> reporter: frank, right now, cal fire has about 65 seasonal firefighters going through training. and they did this in anticipation of the early fire season. so by july, they will have 160 extra firefighters. >> thank you, cate caugiran. >>> quick response from firefighters in san jose kept a fire from spreading overnight. flames broke out behind a home on the 900 block of almaden avenue around 11:30 last night. the fire destroyed one s
