here's of wider view of the entire napa county. let's zoom into the actual city of napa or at least the central heart of the county where most of the population is and what this map indicate says over time from the beginning of the pandemic until now where we've seen the majority of cases, the darker the color, the higher the concentration, the city of napa. no surprise. that's where the population density is at its greatest. that's where we're seeing the most numbers. but what's been troubling is what's been happening recently in the month of may. there were about 270 new cases reported in the county of napa in june that dropped to 2.40 great news. that's the direction we wanted to go. however, in july. it jumped in fact, a jump by a lot. nearly 900 new cases reported in napa county and that's a dangerous trend. we're 6 days into the month of august and we're waiting to see where the numbers go. but the county now is not taking any more chances because of the recent spike that we saw last month. the county now has decided to join

to the north of napa and to the east, that will be the zone of the biggest winds. at the lower elevations at the same time, it is only 10 to 25 miles per hour. the smoke, we have talked about the smoke. and it looks like it will be coming back here as we roll through tomorrow. you can see it in the east bay, south bay and the peninsula. it looks splik moderate air quality and potentially unhealthy for sensitive groups. tomorrow is the day where you may want to think about limiting your outdoor exposure. as this smoke continues to move in, it will be in the 80s. you can see sfr santa rosa, 70s near the bay. oakland at 73. and then right there at the coastline in the 60s. so at this point, i think we'll be with that smoke. not only for tomorrow but into thursday. and then there is a chance by friday and saturday, we could see the smoke beginning to mix out for us. we'll keep the temps in the 60s and through inland valleys. thankfully, as i've mentioned today, we are not in a heat wave. we'll continue to see the 80s inland as we roll through the next seven days. >> th
