here by the time we get into friday morning over the north bay, we're talking santa rosa, novato, napa, maybe some of this rn to san francisco by 8:00 in the morning. then this would hit the east bay peninsula around 11 a.m. and then continue in the south bay here through the early afternoon. this will certainly be gone by the time we get into friday night. rain totals on this not very high trace amounts to aut a quarter inch for most of us, although we could get in on about a third inch a third of an inch up towards guerneville, santa rosa and napa. so not worried about those rain totals. now, if you're doing any traveling tomorrow, kind of heading back after the holidays, you got to get on some sort of a work trip. we got that rain up in seattle. portland could slow you down. rain, snow mix in missoula, some wind in boston and 43. and no huge problems for the central or lower third of the u.s. on the 7-day forecast. we're dry this weekend. upper 50s and low 60s across the bay area, so we'll start it off dry next week. but it will be good to kind of dry it out and get in some sunshine
