valley. and for us we're looking at these areas around here right along the marin, marin, marin hills, inland marin, novato, out in fairfax, or, pardon me. fairfield. napa so and that's a one and done. it's not like last week where it went on for three days, almost four days. and as we go in through tonight, that fog, that's the morning. but see how quickly it gets chewed up. and then the purples. those are the 100 start to show up on this map. so again it's a one and done. but we'll still have some issues right. it's still going to be hot enough. and we'll probably see some brush fire starts. things like that roadside kind of stuff. but it's not a big wind event. it's not a big extended heat event. it's kind of a one day deal, hopefully. and then it cools. it'll still be pretty warm on wednesday, but it won't be 100. it'll be 92, 93, something like that. and then it gets much cooler on thursday. and you'll see that in the five day forecast, as a matter of fact. so there's tuesday hot, the hottest day of the week. wednesday cools down a good 5 or 6 degrees, then boom thursday at bottoms out. and then it hovers in the upper 80s mid 80s through the weeken

we start with breaking news out of the northern napa valley, getting a handle on the fire burning just north of st. helena. though they are also being evaluated for injuries. they are calling it the crystal fire because it is burning off the road near the bell canyon reservoir where 60 acres have burned. it's about 50% contained right now. they have stopped forward progress, which is good news. there are not a ton of buildings in this area, though you could see how close they burned to the winery with a huge home in the middle of the burn area. we don't know yet if that was damaged or not. we're looking into it. on the ground, they rushed to build the containment lines just a few feet away from the flames. many of those firefighters that spent the first part of the day dealing with the structure fire in st. helena. >> check that out, that was an air tanker dropping over the burn area where the quick response from the air units and the helicopters made a huge difference today. just a couple miles from where that fire broke out in september back in 2020. you'll recall they destroyed more
