we've got vicesburg and natchez. these are the areas that did see some showers earlier in the morning and now it looks like it's tapering off a little bit. at least that is the way it looks in the forecast. how will this affect the people who are already dealing with the flooding? the ground is saturated. we'll see little ups and little downs but i don't think we'll see anything bigger than what we've already seen. the central mississippi river valley. computer models are saying three to six inches of rainfall. well, if you remember karo was one of those areas that we were looking at that was practically under water. that is the extreme southern portion of illinois. over the next couple days, it does look like we could see more in the way of wet weather. it moves down stream, but these rivers are continuing to crest. in some cases, they're 13, over 14 feet above their normal flood stage that they would typically see and these are record flooding situations across many areas. nine states. this is included in the last
