we've been in constant communication with district attorney nathan hochman. i also received a call, uh, a day ago from um martinez estrada, the u.s. attorney. here. they are all eager to prosecute anybody who is taking advantage of our residents during this very difficult time, whether it is a burglary or it is some kind of white collar crime in a scam or anything that you may be thinking about doing. um, the next issue, which is a little more difficult to talk about, is yesterday we started a search and rescue operation out in the eaton area, where in the first day of this operation grid searching, we searched approximately 364 properties in the altadena area. and unfortunately, during that search, we did locate three deceased. uh, as these searches continue, uh i, i unfortunately anticipate that those numbers will increase. we will start a similar operation in the northern side of the county here very soon. so the numbers i have, and again, it's going to change. unfortunately, we have confirmed 14 deaths and that is in our specific l.a. county jurisdiction.
