gas prices are falling, albeit slightly in the bay area. according to aaa, the national for a gallon of gas now has hit a three-year low of $3.2 a gallon. the state average here in california is 4.36. and as for the specific prices that we're seeing around the bay, well, drivers are seeing a slightly lower price than last year during the holidays. so let's take a look in the east bay. drivers are averaging just under $4.40 for a gallon of regular gas. you can see alameda contra costa county showing that in the north bay, you've got marin and napa counties at 4.45. or 46 respectively. san francisco, you're looking at an average price of $4.55. a gallon. and that's pretty much what we're seeing for most of the peninsula. and then in the south bay drivers are looking at an average right around $4.30. that's what we're seeing in santa clara solano and sonoma counties. by the way, showing a pretty much that solano 4.29. sonoma, little more expensiye at 4.59. happening today. senator elect adam schiff is going to be sworn in as california's next senator replacing the phones of
