i rise in support of my amendment which will reduce the funding for the national labor relations board by $99 billion. flips ts inception, nlrb from one administration to the next. in the last eight years they overturned 105,000 years precedent in 90 cases. in cases such as the ambush election rule and joint employer rule, the board significantly overstepped their bounds and tipped -- dipped their hands into the day-to-day operations of everyday americans. i'm not here to attack unions. there's i wish more people would join unions under the amendment that we just dealt with. i believe that employees should have the right to join a union if they think joining a union is best for them and their family. but the fact remains, the nlrb has resoved 65% fewer election petitions and 40% unfair -- fewer unfair labor practice charges. while private sector labor representation has decreased the nlrb's budget has increased in inflation adjusted dollars by close to $50 million. my amendment would implement a reduction to nlrb; to bringer that funding in line with their expected work load. specifica
