and because of that tropical feel, we've decided to update you on the national oceanic and atmosphericinistration -- noaa's updated prediction on the tropics. things are expected to heat up here soon right smack in the middle of the season now. between the middle of august and middle of october is when it starts to heat up. noaa has updated their prediction. we are expecting now from noaa, that the season will be active. there is about a 70% chance of the season becoming above normal. which for us means there should be roughly 13 to 19 named storms. but of those, 6 to 9 of them will become hurricane. and 3 to 5 of them are expected to be major hurricanes, which is category 3, 4 or 5, with winds greater than 111 miles per hour. of course, we'll be able to keep you posted. our new wjz mobile weather lab will be able to take you on location in any place where we need to report from the scene and give you ideas on the current conditions. hopefully we're not talking damages. but certainly, we could be weathering some of those tropical storms as they make their way into the region. we'll kee
