it is mainly about the national parks. they go home loving the parks and saying how great it is, even if someone has a great about -- a gripe about america politically, they can go home telling people how great and this was the american idea. it was a democratic idea. otherwise it's the idea the land belongs to all of us. it will be so in the future. otherwise, the whole rim of the canyon could be a series of gated communities with security guards with guns to keep everyone away. a profoundly democratic idea that we can all be proud of. even though today the country is very divided. that is one thing liberals and conservatives should be taking pride in the we have done a good job with our national parks. if there is one message i would like people, viewers to leave with, it is the idea that this land belongs to you and me. this place belongs to us and it is our birthright at this point. and we should not look at it through books, we should go out and visit it ourselves and having experiences. it is a great place to explore
