live in lark spur, pete suratos, nbc bay area news. >> thank you, pete. the bay area is basking in sunlight. the forecast for the weekend is picture-perfect. here is a live look at downtown san jose. blue skies there in the distance, not a cloud in the sky. let's turn to meteorologist kari hall. we have seen patchy fog. >> i can see that in the shot right behind you. as we get a look outside in san jose, you do see a beautiful sky and really soaking in that sunshine and some dryer weather. here's a look at half moon bay toward tiller point. you see the seas are also much more calm than we've had recently. and looking at guerneville, still recovering from all of that heavy rain, looking at the russian river, and we will see those water levels starting to recede. it is now 49 degrees in oakland and in san francisco. in santa rose a 46 degrees, very clear and chilly conditions. this is the kind of weather we'll see throughout the weekend, but those temperatures getting a little bit w5rarmer. we'll have a weekend forecast and a couple events coming up at 4:11.
