this is a live look now from our nbc bay area sky ranger. nbc bay area's ian cull. where are you now? >> reporter: yeah, well we actually moved into the backyard of joseph ford's house. that shed that we showed you. this is the massive crane that crews are trying to remove and get back up. just over the fence, that is a shed. it is not a home. it is a shed that was smashed. you can see some of the damage right here. this is a homeowner we spoke to. luckily he wasn't home at the time when this came crashing down. right over here, you can see the roof, part of the wall was damaged. right here is where you are seeing all of the damage from this crane collapse. once again, if we can put it back out over head, the pg&e says this happened around noon today. some contractors through them said -- rather police are saying it was extended 200 feet when it collapsed, tipped over. we spoke with one woman whose shed was hit and she heard it all. >> i heard the guys yelling, look out, be careful, whatever. a lot of yelling and then a huge crash. and i ran out immediately and saw
